What is Actually an “Experience”?
In today’s world, the term “experience” is thrown around like confetti at a parade. We talk about having experiences, creating experiences, and even buying experiences. It’s everywhere now.
So here are the Building Blocks of an Experience, place any of the choices you have against them and we suggest that you only go for the ones that provide all of the below from beginning to end:
- Perception and Sensations: all senses are stimulated by coordinated sensory inputs. Engage your senses to make experiences more vivid.
- Emotional Components: diverse emotional responses are provoked to provide depth and memory to the moment. Embrace it all, allow yourself to feel deeply.
- Practical Knowledge: engaging with something new is how we acquire knowledge, enrich our lives and open up new possibilities. Take time to reflect and integrate into your life story what you learned in your experience.
- Interactive: requirement to activate some part of the process demands the user to be present and mindful and therefore in-the-moment.
- Connection: the sum of its parts or each of its elements allows for a special and unique shared moment with nature, another person or an object. They foster connections and deepen understanding of our surroundings and ourselves.
Choose experiences that are not only memorable but also transformative; meaningful. Use them as a way to explore, understand and enjoy this life and this world.
We passionately and carefully curated the experience we offer at Kitchen, we are delighted to surprise and delight everyone that dines with us. From our heart to yours.
See you in the Kitchen!
