Ingredients (for 1 pitcher)
- 1 bottle of dry white wine (we like Sauvignon Blanc)
- 1 cup of green apple slices
- 1/2 cup of strawberries, halved
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup of white grape juice
- 1/2 cup of sparkling water or soda
- A splash of elderflower liqueur or Cointreau (optional)
- Ice to serve
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine all the fruit and gently muddle just a bit to release their juices.
- Pour in the wine, juice, and liqueur (if using). Stir and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Just before serving, add sparkling water and ice.
- Serve in glasses with plenty of fruit and a sunny smile.
Best enjoyed barefoot, with good music and better company.
