Ingredients:
| 1 kg | Ripe plantains (almost completely black skin) |
| 150 g | White onion, diced |
| 30 g | Minced garlic |
| 50 g | Chopped parsley |
| 100 g | Pork lard |
| 2 g | Ground cumin |
| 5 g | Cilantro |
| 2 g | Turmeric |
Procedure:
- Bake the plantains at 200°C (392°F) until the skin bursts. Remove the peel, mash the flesh in a bowl, and set aside.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the pork lard. Add the garlic and onion, cooking until translucent. Mix in the mashed plantains and cook for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the cumin, turmeric, parsley, and cilantro. Mix thoroughly and serve.
- For a special touch, add cubes of melting cheese and bake until melted for an enhanced experience.
